August Schedule of Events for MASK

It's been a fun summer in the Bay Area meeting so many new people and seeing people so happy with our masks! With only two more weekends until summer ends, start thinking about upcoming holidays and parties when you may want an exotic, fun or sexy face mask.

Here is where we will be the next few weekends:

Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21
Hayward Zucchini Festival at Kennedy Park in Hayward, CA. Annual event with live entertainment, and lots of zucchini everything. Maybe we'll even hand-make a zucchini mask!

Saturday and Sunday, August 27-28
Ferry Plaza, Embarcadero, San Francisco. L-o-v-e this spot. Inside the Ferry Building Marketplace, it's like an indoor gourmet farmer's market. On Sunday, there is an outdoor farmer's market. Right on the water, the view is beautiful.

Saturday and Sunday, September 3-4
Millbrae Art & Wine Festival, Broadway Ave, Millbrae, CA. I saw that almost 1,200 people liked it on their Facebook page, so it must be good!

Party Masks for New Year's - Berkeley and San Francisco December 12-24

Halloween may be over but New Year's is just around the corner. Celebrate your New Year with a mask that will wow on-lookers and friends!

According to Wikipedia, traditional Venetian masks were usually worn "as a device for hiding the wearer's identity and social status. The mask would permit the wearer to act more freely in cases where he or she wanted to interact with other members of the society outside the bounds of identity and everyday convention. It was thus useful for a variety of purposes, some of them illicit or criminal, others just personal, such as romantic encounters."

Not only are MASKs party masks designed to make your evening a more magical and fun experience, they make terrific Christmas gifts for others, too! It's not just for wearing, it's also great to for starting collections.

See photo on the right for Steve Pogni's Thanksgiving mask, featuring a turkey (above the right eye). Custom masks designed upon request. Contact us to ask about prices.

MASK will be on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, CA the following dates:
    • Dec 12, 13, 19, 20, 23, 24
MASK will also be at 1 Market at Steurt in the Justin Herman Plaza by the Ferry Building in San Francisco the following dates:
    • Dec 9, 10, 16, 17
Wishing you a safe and wonderful holiday season!

MASK Sparks Excitement on Sausalito Boat Party

As people arrived at the Sausalito dock for the private boat party for Aria Pogni's 13th birthday, they could choose from an array of Venetian Italian style masks to wear for the evening, provided by MASK.

Designs were selected to match the "Black and White Ball" theme -- and a special pink one to match the birthday girl's dress.

"These masks are so cool!," said one party goer. "I want to wear it for Halloween, too."

Did you know that MASK takes special orders? Call Steve if interested. Hurry -- Halloween is around the corner!

Steve Pogni and his MASKs will be at several Halloween fairs and festivals in the Bay Area, including Exotic Erotic Ball on Treasure Island.

Stay tuned for more locations where you can find his MASKs.
